Nicole Van Zandt
Interim Administrator

Nicole holds a B.A. and M.A. in English literature from the University of Connecticut. Her three children attended Waldorf in preschool, where her journey with Waldorf began. Formerly she served as the Waldorf School's business manager for five years. She enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga, and gardening.

Sullay Harke
Business Manager
Sullay previously worked for a non-woven engineering company for seven years. When her son started attending the Waldorf school in 2023, she saw so much growth in him that she fell in love with the school and decided to change her career and come on board with us. In her free time, she loves to read about history with her son, have weekly game nights, travel and have weekend adventures.

Lindsay Card
Admissions

Before joining the Waldorf community, Lindsay worked as a copy editor for a nonprofit and homeschooled her daughters. Lindsay lives with her husband and two children, is vegan, and loves to cook. She also enjoys getting outdoors and reading as often as she can.

Lauren Neulander
Registrar
Lauren earned a B.S from SUNY Environmental Science and Forestry. She then moved to Saratoga and became a mother of three children, all of whom attended Waldorf from preschool through the grades. She has been on the Administration team since 2017. When not at work, you can find her out in the mountains- skiing or hiking, or in her yard gardening and spending time with friends and family.

Susan Werner Delong
Lower School Office Manager

Susan has experience in office management, human resources, and a recent digital marketing certification from the University of Vermont. Before joining Waldorf, Susan worked as a Spa Coordinator for a day spa after raising and homeschooling her daughter. Outside of work, Susan enjoys spending time with her family, playing pickleball, travelling, and playing board games. She loves animals, decorating, and the outdoors.

Katherine Patterson
Communications and Event Planner

Katherine holds a BFA from Cooper Union and MFA from New England College. She is also the middle school art teacher at Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs and taught art and design at SUNY Adirondack for a decade before taking this position. She is also a working artist and mother of two sons who homeschool blend at WSSS.

Laura Blunt
Nurse
Laura is starting her eleventh year as our school nurse. She previously worked in the hospital setting for many years and then took some time off to raise her family before coming to Waldorf Saratoga. Laura enjoys being outdoors, gardening, bird watching, and spending time with family and friends.
